Ph.D in Computer Science. I am a postdoctoral fellow at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research - Jensen group. Actually, I work on data mining of past medical records of patients with alcoholic liver disease based on the Danish national patient registry data. The goal of this study is to stratify patients and improve early diagnosis of the disease.
Previously, I held a post-doc researcher position at IRIT of Toulouse -SMAC team- where I have had the opportunity to work on text and process mining. I gained my first experience in the field of Bioinformatics at INRA of Theix, and in collaboration with INRIA of Nancy -Orpailleur team where I had the chance to work on a multidisciplinary project, combining data mining and machine learning approaches with the application on metabolomic data.
Besides my research experience, I had the opportunity to teach, as an assistant, in several universities in France and Tunisia. I also co-supervised graduate and undergraduate students.
